Jim Kirby is an accomplished and ambitiously-driven professional offering over 35 years of experience in local and international levels with success in project architecture, management and sustainable design leadership. Capable of bringing diverse groups together over the common focus of sustainable design/construction/operations and address complex issues with clarity and order. Strengths in communicating architectural and engineering design integration, building operations and green building certification programs.
- Founded the firm based on the tenets of sustainability in the design, construction and operations of building environments.
- Serve as a Green Building Design and Construction resource to the building industry.
- Project Architect and Manager for diverse client types.
- Work with building construction professionals on daily activities of green building implementation and tracking of performance.
A Carolinian by birth via Charleston to Charlotte, from the coast to the Piedmont, I enjoy the beauty of the Carolinas. From camper life to coastal fishing, Andrea and I love to explore new places and revisit the old favorites as often we can. My passion towards architecture began in high school where I learned about buildings, our environment and how my love for drawing could bring the two together.
